The contests are a world still unknown to many because of its harsh restrictions, policies and standards that are almost impossible to achieve. Contests have dominated the field of female beauty for many years now, so it is not difficult to imagine that they are responsible for the fate of many recognized models.
Now it's the turn of Joyce Prado, winner of Miss Bolivia 2018, who was snatched the crown with which she represented her country in the Miss Universe pageant, held in Thailand, because it confirmed the rumors that she and her mate, Paraguayan model Rodrigo Giménez, they would have a baby.
Breach of contract
When the model confirmed the pregnancy of almost two months, the agency Promotions Gloria was quick to inform that the model would not only be removed from the Miss Bolivia pageant crown but would also lose the Miss Santa Cruz crown.
It has been removed from its crowns for reasons that are strictly related to breach of contract.
They will not let her hand over the crown
The agency also ruled that Joyce will not show up to deliver her crown in the Miss Santa Cruz final, to be held on April 27.
Although having a pregnancy is a happiness for any woman, the misses must fulfill a contract. When they fail to comply, they lose all their benefits and the title.
Joyce is more than happy
Despite the unfortunate statements, the model was not worried about the news, and shared a photograph with her partner on her Instagram account, in which she wrote a tender message:
The miracle of life is indescribable, especially when it comes to the arrival of a new member of the family. Becoming a Father or Mother can be the most important challenge life presents, but just as it can be difficult, it can also be the most rewarding thing in the world.
The couple will get married very soon
With the same emotion, the model confirmed that there are plans to get married.
We do not have a wedding date, but hopefully it will be soon. We will take it calmly.
He added that they had the support of both families and that, now more than ever, they were very happy and united.
